This is what I originally intended. But not only did we run out of alginate twice but the plaster I mixed was way too runny. So, for 2 classes I sat around waiting, not being able to do anything.
The alginate mold got destroyed in the process of removing and the plaster hand also broke.
I got cheesecloth and plaster to make drapery and put the fingers back on as best I could.
