This is the final Children's Block sculpture. I wanted to do something to capture one of my favorite parts of my childhood. These blocks both reminded me of my time in my dad's workshop and of my own set of blocks. The intricate wood burned script is my way of saying we often underestimate the intelligence of children and assume they need very simple dumbed down toys.
